    Itinerary

    Upon arrival at Muscat International Airport, you will be welcomed by our airport representative, holding a signage with our DMC logo and your name, who will then escort you to your transfer. After checking into your hotel, you will proceed with a Muscat city tour. The tour begins with a visit to the Grand Mosque, an exquisite architectural marvel (please note the specific dress code: long sleeves to wrists, long trousers/skirts to ankles, covered neck, and covered head for ladies). From there, you'll explore the old part of Muscat, including the traditional Omani market of Muttrah Souq. Next, delve into Oman's 7000-year history at the National Museum. The tour continues with a photo stop at the Al Alam Palace, flanked by the 16th-century Mirani and Jalali Forts (video filming prohibited). The final stop is a photo opportunity at the Middle East's first Opera House, showcasing a blend of traditional Omani and classic opera architecture. Overnight stay will be at your hotel in Muscat.
    On the way to Nizwa you will visit Amouage Perfume Factory – Omani national luxury worldwide famous perfume brand. Photo stop on the top point with a stunning view to Birkat Al Mouz – palm tree plantation with the ancient village with 500-years abundant houses. Here you will be able to observe UNESCO Heritage site 4000- years Falaj irrigation system which works till nowadays. Proceed to Nizwa to visit the unique cattle market in Nizwa (on Fridays). Livestock owners, both women and men from nearby areas, bring their animals – mainly sheep, goats, cattle and at times even camels – to the market where they are registered. Visit the Nizwa Fort which has been strategically built atop a hill overlooking the ancient city with its colorful domes and bustling market below. Spend some time in this traditional city and visit the interesting fort with the round tower and the museum and stroll through the Nizwa Souq where you will be able to try National Oman sweet –freshly cooked Halwa, try different sorts of Omani dates and buy some wester species and oils. Proceed to Jabal Akhdar and check in hotel. Overnight at hotel in Jabal Akhdar.
    When you wake to a morning surrounded by breath-taking views of the mountain, you just know it’s going to be a wonderful day. The Green Mountain is rife with adventures of every kind—from short walks and long hikes to military routes and trips to fruit, rose, and nut plantations. Along the Village Walk & Saiq Plateau journey you will be able to see how local people adapted to live in the mountains, the houses they leave in and the crop they cultivate. You will be driven to Wadi Bani Habib with 5-minute walk till the photo stop point with a breathtaking view to the Canyon. From high up above, you will then have to brace for the second leg of the adventure—right in the Misfat Al Arbiyeen which is located in the mountain foothills in Al Hamra. a village that features incredible agricultural terraces, beautiful alleys, and old mud houses with palm frond roofs built on solid rock foundation.     Starting a new day with the small town of BAHLA which is famous for its gigantic Fort listed as UNESCO Heritage site and its distinctive earthenware pottery – it also has a certain reputation as the favoured haunt of mischievous jinn’s and other supernatural phenomena – a kind of Omani Glastonbury. We proceed on to the Jibreen Castle, the finest of Oman’s castles built during the late 17th century. On the way to Wahiba Desert you will get the unique opportunity to have lunch at a local Omani house and experience the true Omani hospitality. On the way to the desert camp, you will experience unforgettable Dunes’ bashing and lose yourself in the beauty of the ever-changing slopes of sand. The rest of the day will be dedicated to your rest at the camp with Sunset watching at the top of the Dune to create unforgettable memories.     One of the most sought-after parts of any Oman itinerary is the wadi day—where you will finally have the chance to take a dip and relax in the cool waters of a natural pool. Remember to bring light clothing for swimming as you head for Wadi Bani Khalid. Enjoy not only the calm, clear and deep waters, but also the sight of palm trees all around (bikinis are not allowed). After the wadi escapade, you’ll be driven straight to Sur, where you will be seeing some fishermen in action as they go through their lives at the harbor. Visit the Dhow-building factory where traditional wooden boats are made by hand. Travel to Muscat through a scenic coastal landscape, visiting the white-sandy Fins Beach and natural Sinkhole Bimmah, where sea water and fresh groundwater meet. Overnight at hotel in Muscat.
